Bee happy

Hi crafty friends! Today I enjoyed a super fun crfting break using some new supplies! Absolutely love how this card turned out and it was so quick to make!

For this card I started by diecutting a panel of Canson Montval 300 gsm watercolor cardstock using the largest diagonal stitched rectangle from the Pinkfresh Studio Essentials Mini Slimline die set. I then made my cardbase to be 6.5 x 3.5 inches and cut a piece of kraft cardstock to cover it.

I stamped the image from the mini and my sentiment on the panel using Versafine Onyx Black and embossed it with WOW Clear Gloss Super Fine embossing powder. I quickly colored in the image and the surrounding area with my Karin Brushmarkers. I kept it super simple and light.

To finish it off I used some of the decorative circles from the Pinkfresh Studio Essentilas Mini Slimline die set to add details and interest around the scene. To put this card together, I glued the kraft panel onto my cardbase and propped the watercolor panel up on foam tape. I also made a matching envelope using my 1, 2, 3 punch board by We R Memory Keepers, yes, you can absolutely make slimline and mini slimline envelopes with this!

That finishes up this card! Please let me know if you have any questions. Make sure to follow me on Instagram, I post a new card every day! And subscribe to me on YouTube for video tutorials. In the supply list you can find all the products I used. Where possible I’ve used affiliate links. If you choose to purchase through these links, I will make a small (5 – 10%) commission to no extra cost to you. This helps me out a ton! You can also use code STUDIOKATO at checkout in the Crafty Meraki store or the Joy Clair Designs store to get 10% off your purchase!
