Hello crafty friends! I’m back with another card for Crafty Meraki. I am loving guest designing for them, it’s going by way too fast!
For this card I started out by stamping the gorgeous large Love Forever floral stamp by Crafty Meraki onto a large panel (7 x 6″) of Canson Montval 300 gsm watercolor cardstock. This is way larger than I need it to be but when working with large background stamps I find it easier to do on a large piece of paper. I stamped it out with my Misti in Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed it with WOW Clear Gloss Super Fine embossing powder.
I then set to watercoloring it, and you can actually see this in an Instagram live I did right here. I used the Karin Brushmarkers. I love these markers so much. I just put some color down in the areas I want darkest and blend it out with a fine paint brush and some clean water.
To put this card together I die cut an A2 sized panel from the large piece with the A2 double stitched nesting rectangles by The Ton. I glued that onto a topfolding white notecard. To finish it up I added a sentiment by Pinkfresh Studio and some gems and drops by Little Things from Lucy’s Cards.
That finishes up this card! Please let me know if you have any questions. Make sure to follow me on Instagram, I post a new card every day! And subscribe to me on YouTube for video tutorials. In the supply list you can find all the products I used. Where possible I’ve used affiliate links.
