Reverse Confetti Blog Hop – Adore Him

Hello crafty friends! It’s time for another Reverse Confetti release. We’re celebrating with a blog hop so make sure you hop along!

For my card I used one of the new stamp sets called Adore Him and I stamped the image onto Clairefontaine DCP 250 gsm cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink so I could do some quick coloring with my alcohol markers. I kept the coloring really simple, sticking to only a few colors because I want it to be a little bit more muted than my background.

For the background I took a panel of Mondi Color Copy 300 gsm cardstock and cut that down to be slightly smaller than A2 size. From that I die cut the Layered Peace confetti cuts die 4 times, leaving room at the bottom to stamp an additional sentiment. I kept all the pieces that I diecut to add color to later and also kept all the tiny little insert pieces. I stamped a sentiment from the Sparkle and Shine Sentiments stamp set by Reverse Confetti at the bottom of this panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed it with WOW Clear Gloss Super Fine embossing powder.

To add color to the Peace words I used some Reverse Confetti ink cubes and simply swiped them on. These inks even out nicely when they dry so this will give you a smooth color all over and it will be nice and saturated because we went straight to paper with the ink cube. I glued the white sentiment panel on top a piece of cardboard to add dimension to the entire thing and then put glue in the open areas so I can inlay all the peace word die cuts and then use a jewel picker to inlay the tiny white pieces as well. Then I just added the image on top with some foam tape and added a couple of embellishments here and there as well!

That’s it for my card, you can watch the entire process of making this fun Christmas card right here in the video!

Hop along with the blog hop!
