Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

Hi crafty friends! It’s time for another Reverse Confetti Blog Hop, and this time I have a very summery circle card to share! As always, you’ll find all the information in the video below!

For this card I used the fun palm tree image from the Dog Days stamp set by Reverse Confetti. I stamped it in alcohol marker friendly ink, colored it while the stamp was still in my Misti Stamping Tool, then stamped it again with Versafine Onyx Black. This allows me to add Clear Embossing Powder to the image.

I diecut it with the Coordinating Dies. While I had my diecut machine out, I also cut two large circles with some basic circle dies to form my cardbase and I cut the Large Rainbow Circle die by Reverse Confetti from a ton of different colors to create a beach and a sunset. I also dry embossed that same die onto white cardstock and cut the circle out. This will create a base piece for me to line up all the colored pieces and I can now adhere all of the arches at once on my cardbase.

I added a score line near the top of one of the white circles, added glue to every bit above the scoreline to adhere it to the second white circle, and voilĂ , a circle cardbase! I glued a piece of teal paper to the cardbase and propped the sunset circle up on craft foam. I added the palm tree image with foam tape and finished the card with some Enchanted Forest gems by Crafty Meraki.
