Reverse Confetti Hop

Hi crafty friends! It’s time for another great Reverse Confetti hop! Today I’m showing my favorite hot foiling trick with dies on my YouTube channel. Check out the video below!

For this card I white heat embossed some of the gorgeous Tropical Leaves images from Reverse Confetti onto watercolor cardstock and one on green vellum. For the watercolor leaves I colored them with a sprinkling of Lindy’s Gang Magicals.

I fussy cut them out and hot foiled a the Folklore background die by Reverse Confetti on some white cardstock. You can perfectly use dies to hot foil, but usually the lines and impressions are very fine and thin. However I found this great hack on Pia’s youtube channel where you use parchment paper or baking paper or even die release paper between your die and the foil to get a thicker impression and it works a charm!

So to foil dies with the glimmer hot foil system, my sandwich is the glimmer base, the die, baking paper, hot foil pretty side down, cardstock and the shims that come with the glimmer system. I roll it through slowly back and forth for a great impression. I cut the foiled background down, arranged the leaves in the bottom left corner, added a Reverse Confetti word duos sentiment and finished it off with some gems from Crafty Meraki.
