Hi crafty friends! So happy to be back today with this simple card. This features a new 3D embossing folder from Spellbinders that’s perfect for backgrounds, but I thought I’d make it the focal point of the card this time around.
Embossing folders are a fantastic background product, but every background product I add to my stash is an investment, which is why I love finding background stamps, stencils or embossing folders that work perfectly as the focal image of the card as well.
This honey comb pattern would look stunning embossed on white cardstock, but add some bright rainbow colors with your alcohol markers and you really make it pop. The bees shimmer and shine with some metallic watercolors and then all I did was trim down the panel (yes, this is a little scary every time), prop it up on a creme cardbase and then added a sentiment that I foiled using opaque white foil and the You Are Everything Sentiments press plate.
