Alex Syberia Designs You Are Loved Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hi crafty friends! It’s time for another wonderful release and generous giveaway over at Alex Syberia Designs. Check out all the inspiration right here!

I made 4 cards for this blog hop using mainly one cover die from this fantastic new release from Alex Syberia Designs! If you want to see all 10+ cards I made with these new goodies, you can check it out here:

I was only planning on making one die cut inlay card, but because I had cut out all of these colored pieces, I didn’t want to let them go to waste. All these cards feature the Trendy Pattern Cover die, but if you’re more into stenciling, this is also available as a layering stencil set!

First, I adhered the white outline of the cover die onto a separate piece of white cardstock and then I inlayed all my colored pieces. I made three backgrounds that way. On one of them I just adhered this gorgeous Large Smile Die from the new release.

Another background, I cut down so I could use it on two cards. All I did to finish these off was stamp a thoughtful sentiment from the Self Care Sentiments stamp set on the white parts of these cards.

One thing to note is I wanted to make these backgrounds level. Remember, my inlayed pattern is 2 layers of cardstock on top of each other, so I layered 2 pieces of white cardstock on top of each other as well to create the white areas on these cards. I stamped and heat embossed my sentiments before I adhered these white panels down.

For the final background, I used the beautiful bear from the new Collecting Memories stamp set to add a cute touch to the card. There’s a coordinating die set available as well! I finished it with a hot foiled sentiment strip from the Celebrations Sentiments hot foil plate and that’s it!

Four fun cards, all done!
